As of June 2018, it is estimated that there are 1.75 million people employed in the accommodation and food service sectors within the UK.  Out of those 1.75 million workers an estimated 43,050 employees (and growing) suffered from a serious workplace injury which could have been avoided. 

From our experience managers of hotels are stretched whilst doing their day to day duties which leaves very little time to get to grips with the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.


As a result of this, important things are missed or just simply not addressed leading to avoidable injuries to employees.
